#88: "Pure Morning" - Placebo Release Date: 1998 Director: Nick Gordon Fun Fact: Despite being one of their most famous songs, Placebo have not played this song since August 2007 - nearly eight years ago! Brian Molko, lead singer, says he hates the song, hence not playing it for a long time.
I'd probably say this is Placebo's most famous video and, in my opinion, their best. It's just visually a great video, with Brian Molko playing a character who is about to commit suicide, or so it seems. But he crosses his fingers, takes a leap of faith and actually starts to walk down the side of the building instead, to the amazement of everyone. It's just a simple video, done to great effect that is iconic as well as really well shot, and definitely worth watching if you've never seen it before.
